Payroll HRIS Manager to lead payroll and HRIS operations. This role manages a bi-weekly $30M payroll for 400 exempt and non-exempt employees using ADP Workforce Now. You will own payroll processing, compliance, and benefits administration in a lean, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end ADP Workforce Now payroll processing for all Arizona employees.
* Set up new hires in ADP, verify tax elections, and direct deposit
* Manage garnishments, deductions, HSA/401(k) plans, and timekeeping.
* Oversee carrier feeds, file transmissions, and benefits vendor administration.
* Perform payroll audits, journal entries, and respond to Finance audit requests.
* Handle final paychecks, PTO payouts, and deductions closeout during offboarding.
* Provide analytics on merit vs. market and retention data.

Requirements
* 4+ years of progressive experience in payroll.
* 3+ years of hands-on ADP Workforce Now experience.
* Advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
* Strong understanding of payroll deductions, benefits reconciliation, and tax-advantaged plans (401(k), HSA).
* Familiarity with grant-funded payroll is a plus
* Knowledge of retiree plan administration.
* Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high-volume processing.
